KEY FEATURES

1. For ONP (Old New Papers) deinking, Saxon LDI™ Liquid Paper De-inking can be used to reduce or even replace caustic soda in alkaline deinking process, and can eliminate most other deinking chemicals.

2. By detaching ink particles from the ONP fiber, Saxon LDI™ Liquid Paper De-inking  will facilitate ink removal of any kind of ink resulting in an improved brightness in ONP stocks.

3. By fibrillating recycled ONP, Saxon LDI™ Liquid Paper De-inking will enhance strength properties of final paper.

The type 1 Saxon LDI™ Liquid Paper De-inking enzyme can be used with both floatation and non-floatation cell deinking process, let's focus on the cheaper machine set up (non-floatation) one, you just dose with Saxon LDI™ Liquid Paper De-inking and the pulper, if possible the pulp should pass to a stock pulp tank to increase retention time before sending the pulp toward screen or refiner, the longer retention time will help lower dosage of Saxon LDI™ Liquid Paper De-inking.

Because the process does not require a flotation unit you retain up to 15% more fibre from that proportion which is normally lost in the foam with the ink particles

For the floatation cell version, type 2 Saxon LDI™ Liquid Paper De-inking can work well, simple and cheap detergent is enough, other deinking chemical such as oxidative bleaching agents or stickies control chemicals can be eliminated or reduced substantially.

If you use caustic soda, you should also lower the level of use. Then a significant brightness improvement will be observed.
